For more than 25 years, our hospital has specialized in diagnosing and treating sports‑related vascular problems. We do this not only by providing care, but also by conducting research into the best diagnostic methods and treatments. In addition, we perform laboratory research to better understand the underlying abnormality, as well as biomechanical studies to identify factors that may contribute to or worsen the condition. As a result, we are a global leader in this field.
Because of this, there is a good chance that we may invite you to participate in one of our scientific studies. This may involve completing questionnaires to help us monitor treatment outcomes, or taking part in a study that requires an additional visit for follow‑up examinations. Participation is always voluntary, of course!
Standard care
There is no need to worry, you will always receive the same high‑quality care as every other patient. During your consultation, you may be asked whether you would like to participate in one of our scientific studies. You may also be contacted after your visit with the same request.
You never have to worry about missing out on care, participation is always voluntary and will never affect the treatment you receive.
You are never obliged to participate
Taking part in scientific research is always voluntary. If you prefer not to participate, that is absolutely no problem and it will not affect your treatment in any way.

Indien onze specialisten aanleiding zien voor vervolgonderzoek, krijgt u al uw onderzoeken in ons centrum
Wat zijn de kosten?
U heeft een verwijzing nodig vanuit uw huisarts of vanuit een ander medisch specialisme. Uw zorg wordt vergoed vanuit de basisverzekering.
Accepteert mijn zorgverzekeraar onze zorg?
Zeer waarschijnlijk wel. Echter zijn er uitzonderingen, het is altijd raadzaam om uw verzekering te contacteren of onze zorg wordt vergoed.
