At our STZ TEC Center, the patient is always our top priority. We look beyond surgical treatment alone: in many cases, other underlying causes or symptoms deserve attention first. That’s why we start from a conservative approach. We only consider surgery when it is truly necessary.
With our many years of experience, we carefully determine which treatment best fits your situation and often, surgery turns out not to be needed at all.
Intake
We begin with an extensive intake in which we carefully ask about your symptoms and medical history. This gives us a complete picture of your situation.
Further diagnostics
We then carry out targeted diagnostic tests to confirm,or rule out a possible vascular issue. This allows us to clearly identify the cause of your symptoms.
Treatment
Based on the results, we determine the treatment plan together. This may be conservative, in which we also address symptoms that are not directly related to the sports‑related vascular issue (such as back problems or overtraining), or surgical, if that is the only effective solution.

Ja, voor een afspraak heeft u een verwijzing nodig van uw huisarts of van uw specialist (sportarts, vaatchirurg of ander specialisme)
Kan ik al mijn onderzoeken krijgen bij onze specialisten?
Indien onze specialisten aanleiding zien voor vervolgonderzoek, krijgt u al uw onderzoeken in ons centrum
Wat zijn de kosten?
U heeft een verwijzing nodig vanuit uw huisarts of vanuit een ander medisch specialisme. Uw zorg wordt vergoed vanuit de basisverzekering.
Accepteert mijn zorgverzekeraar onze zorg?
Zeer waarschijnlijk wel. Echter zijn er uitzonderingen, het is altijd raadzaam om uw verzekering te contacteren of onze zorg wordt vergoed.
